What areas does LP’s Detailing serve?

We’re based out of our indoor detailing studio in Moncure, NC. We travel throughout the Triangle area for mobile detailing appointments. Our primary service areas include Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Sanford, and New Hill, plus surrounding areas.

Do I need to do anything to prepare my vehicle before the appointment?

Remove any personal belongings from the areas being detailed, especially the interior if you’re booking an interior or full detail. Outside of that, we handle everything.

What products does LP’s Detailing use, and why does it matter?

We use professional-grade products including Majestic Solutions, Shine Supply, and Revival Marine Care. All professional detailing products. The products matter because they deliver better results, are gentler on your vehicle’s surfaces, and last longer between services.

Can I drop my vehicle off instead of using the mobile service?

Yes. If you’d rather bring your vehicle to us, our indoor detailing studio in Moncure is available for drop-off appointments. Working indoors gives us controlled conditions for more precise work, particularly useful for ceramic coating applications and paint correction services where environment matters. Just let us know when you’re requesting a quote and we’ll schedule a drop off and pick up time.

Do you detail classic or collector cars?

Yes, and we treat them accordingly. Classic and collector vehicles require more care and product awareness. Certain chemicals and techniques that are fine on modern clear coat can damage older paint, chrome, rubber trim, or original finishes. Our team is careful to use products and methods appropriate for the age and condition of the vehicle. If you have a classic or specialty car, mention it when you reach out and we’ll discuss the right approach before any work begins.

How does mobile detailing work?

You tell us where you are located: your home, your workplace, wherever your vehicle is parked, and our team comes to you at the scheduled time. We arrive with everything needed to complete the service on-site. Once we’re done, we’ll walk you through the finished result and make sure you’re satisfied before we leave. No drop-offs, no waiting rooms and no rearranging your day.

How long does a detail appointment take?

It depends on the service and the condition of the vehicle. A standard interior or exterior detail typically runs 2 to 4 hours. A full detail: interior and exterior together, can take 4+ hours or more on larger vehicles or those that haven’t been detailed in a while. When you request a quote, we’ll give you a time estimate based on your specific vehicle and what it needs.

Do you detail boats?

Absolutely. Boat detailing is a core part of what we do. We restore and maintain marine surfaces, hulls, gelcoat, upholstery, and more. Using products specifically designed for the marine environment, including Revival Marine Care. Whether your boat needs a seasonal refresh, oxidation removal, or a full restoration, we can assess what it needs and give you a clear plan before any work begins.

Do you detail RVs and motorhomes?

RV detailing is one of the services we offer, and it’s one that most standard shops either can’t accommodate or aren’t equipped to do properly. We clean and restore the exterior of motorhomes. RVs take more time and more product than a standard vehicle, so pricing is quoted individually based on size and condition. Reach out with your RV’s length and what it needs and we’ll put together an accurate quote for you!

What are maintenance plans, and do I need one?

A maintenance plan is a recurring detail schedule, usually every four to eight weeks. Designed to keep your vehicle in top condition between more intensive services. Rather than letting buildup accumulate until a full reset is needed, maintenance visits are faster, less intensive, and better than starting from scratch each time. They’re especially popular with customers who’ve just had a ceramic coating applied and want to protect that investment, or with anyone who simply wants their vehicle to look well-kept year-round. Ask about recurring scheduling when you request your first quote.
